CubeLite is definitely a cube, not made of light

Cubelite.jpg

Although it masquerades as a poorly designed tent, the Lastolite Cubelite measures up as a portable studio for your photography. In fact, the measurements of the largest model (6.5 x 6.5 x 7 feet) could even fit that vintage fridge you plan to sell on eBay and your neighbor wearing his Thrustpac comfortably. Thoughtfully, Lastolite put in several zippers for when you want to shoot with all of the walls up, but there's also Velcro, which lets you remove undesired walls and shoot with more elbow room. My favorite feature is the lack of floor — it's a great perk for budding botanists who want to use the Cubelite to soften the light shining on any vegetation they want to document. You can buy the largest model for $615, but for that much dough I'd rather try (and fail) to build my own first.
