Sony Vaio LA-Series doesn't rip off iMac — let's call it an homage
If you like the look of Apple's iMacs, but don't really like Apple, Sony has a surprise for you. The new Vaio LA-Series Media Center looks suspiciously like the iMac, with the all-in-one design and built-in webcam, but is decidedly a Sony PC. The 19-inch monitor is designed to be both a computer screen and a TV, using Windows Media Center Edition to record your shows like a little TiVo. You'll also get a nice Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 300 GB hard drive for recording an entire season of House. There's no word on pricing or availability at the moment.

Regardless of the quality of its products, any company that treats its customers that way doesn't deserve our business.
