For Sirius listeners who need their daily doses of Howard Stern or Martha Stewart no matter where they are, the new Stiletto 100 ($350) will let you tune in from anywhere — as long as you can see the sky or access a Wi-Fi hotspot. The Stiletto offers the first real challenge to rival XM's newer portables, including the Samsung Helix. This new handheld provides satellite-radio reception in portable mode, and it can record up to 100 hours of Sirius programming. For when there's no satellite signal, the Stiletto's Wi-Fi ability gives you access to Sirius' Internet streams, which include all 64 commercial-free music channels plus, yes, both Howard and Martha. Subscribers can also flag their favorite songs, buy better-quality versions through Yahoo's Music Jukebox on their PCs, and then transfer those songs, along with other downloaded/ripped MP3 and WMA files, to the Stiletto. Optional kits for your home ($70) and car ($70) as well as an executive system ($150) are also available. That adds up to a lot of money to listen to Howard or Martha, but can you really put a price on the freedom to take them with you on the go?
