First Dell bought boutique gaming PC maker Alienware, and now HP has gone and snapped up gaming rig builder Voodoo. It looks like both of the giant PC companies see a big market in the super-expensive gaming PC market, as they've now bought the two biggest manufacturers that hardcore gamers go to for the fastest rigs money can buy. That leaves poor Falcon Northwest without a sugar daddy. Come on Gateway, you have some extra millions kicking around, why don't you join the club and snap them up to complete the trifecta? It'll be interesting to see what kind of machines Voodoo start pumping out with HP at its back. Stay tuned.
