The big thing with satellite radio these days seems to be having the ability to record your favorite tracks for later listening. Various portables from both XM and Sirius have offered this function, and Delphi's latest SKYFi (SkyFi? Whatever) XM portable has plenty of room to record, too. The SKYFi3, designed to work both in the car and out, can store up to 10 hours of XM programming in addition to as many MP3s as you can cram onto a MicroSD card. If you're listening to XM on the go and hit record the unit can go back and start recording from the beginning of the song so you don't miss anything, and if there's a daily show you don't want to miss you can set the SKYFi3 to record at the same time every day. The plain black-and-white screen leaves a bit to be desired aesthetically, but the text is big enough that you should be able to read it well enough while you're driving. It's due to hit stores on December 1st for $230.
