'Blind camera' takes other people's pictures

blind camera

This is no ordinary camera. It doesn't have any optics at all, so you can't capture an image of what's around you, hence the name: the blind camera. What this camera does is find an image online taken at the exact time you hit the button and displaying it for you, so you can see what someone else was seeing at the exact moment you "took a picture." Obviously you won't be able to see the photo immediately, as people need time to upload their photos to the web, but after a few minutes/hours you should get your "photo." It has a slim chance of replacing your regular, functioning camera, but the blind camera seems like a pretty interesting item in its own right. Unsurprisingly, it's an art project, so you won't be able to pick one up at Best Buy anytime soon.
