Allergy sufferers, rejoice! A company called Allerca has developed a Hypoallergenic cat, meaning you can finally get a little friend that will ignore you and scratch up your furniture without giving you the sniffles. They make the cats allergy-free by getting rid of pesky glycoprotein Fel d 1, a major allergen present in cat hair, saliva, urine, and other such unmentionables. The process in which they do this is complicated, but it doesn't involve cloning or anything creepy like that, so you don't need to worry about Mr. Peppers being an abomination in the eyes of the Lord. The abomination in His eyes might be the fact that you're dropping about $4,000 on a freaking cat. But hey, if you've got the extra scratch (I'm sorry), this could be the chance you've been waiting for to finally clean out litter boxes and pull cat hair off of your clothes and furniture.
