Sleek clock radio? Try futuristic cell phone. This phone concept, conceived by Lunar Design for Pantech, features a swiveling screen, making it easy to prop up when you need to stop talking and start working: video conferencing and using an external keyboard with the mobile will certainly be a easier now that you don't have to stick your wallet or purse in behind it to keep it upright. And hey, being a clock radio may not be its primary function, but the "Pivot" already looks the part, so no one will hold it against you if you use it that way. That is, when it moves out of the design stage and becomes a real product, of course. To be honest, I can't really tell from the photo how this thing is supposed to fold up into a nice, slim handset that fits in your pocket (Is that middle hinge flexible? And don't those round edges make it look like it's supposed to fold up with the screen on the outside?), but if you think you know, feel free to comment below.
