MyKey 2300 brings RFID to home security

mykey_lock.jpgWith technology totally updating and changing our doors and mirrors, it was only a matter of time before the common lock got its big upgrade. The MyKey 2300 RFID Door Lock will unlock not with a key but an RFID tag waved in front of it. Because there's no lock to pick, it's a lot more secure than your standard deadbolt, and there's a slide-out keypad for when you forget the tag in the house. The lock runs on four AA batteries, and if those batteries die simply press a 9-volt battery up to the terminal and you should be inside in no time. The MyKey 2300 comes with six RFID tags that can be put on your keychain or in your wallet, providing access with a wave. It's available online now for $300.
