While speaker docks for the iPod are pretty much everywhere, from the living room to the kitchen to the bathroom, they all ask people to put down another significant amount of cash on top of their player, oftentimes even more than the player originally cost. Not so with the Buslink MC512, a portable MP3 player that comes bundled with its own dock. The player itself is pretty straightforward, featuring music playback, an FM receiver, voice recording, and 512 MB of built-in memory, but coupled with a speaker dock the price of $99 makes it seem like a downright steal. Then again, a $99 dock without an MP3 player probably sounds kind of crappy, so the chances of the dock bundled with this thing sounding any better than a computer speaker submerged in a fish tank are slim. Anyhow, if you somehow have made it this far without picking up a portable MP3 player and want to get a dock of questionable quality along with it, your ship has come in. — Adam Frucci
