Load up your rearview mirror with tunes

Here's an innovative solution for people who want to add Bluetooth capabilities to their car, but don't want to have to install a new stereo: the Shining Elite VM-5602 Rear-View Mirror Wireless Player. A replacement for your current, featureless rearview mirror, it acts not only as a Bluetooth receiver but as a digital audio player as well. You can load up the mirror with music from a USB drive or an SD card, then play it on your car's stereo. You can also send and receive calls on it if your phone is Bluetooth-enabled, although the mirror won't tell you who's calling. But controls for the phone and your music are right on the mirror, so you won't need to take your eyes off the road. And in a feature you'll probably use a bit less, it has an FM tuner for some reason, just in case your car doesn't have one of those. The Shining Elite is a Chinese product, but it just got FCC approval so there's a decent chance it will make its way to our shores. Pricing and availability aren't available just yet, however.
