People at trade shows are always looking for new ways to cram information and sales pitches into participants skulls, and with this Comfort Sphere they seem to have taken a page from the Oculas' book to do so. The Comfort Sphere is a futuristic brainwashing device that cradles the participant in its half-circle enclosure and then blasts them with a multimedia presentation from all sides. A wraparound screen provides the visuals, while the built-in speakers come from the high-end audio guys at Dynaudio. It's too bad this is designed for conferences and trade shows, as it seems like it could be adapted to act as a personal home theater chair just as well, albeit an expensive one. Since this isn't designed as a consumer product, there is no pricing info available. If you really want to try one out it seems like you're just going to have to hit the trade show circuit and keep your fingers crossed.
