TruScene nabs hit-and-run drivers in the act

truscene.jpg

One night when I was in college, my car was parked in front of my house and I awoke to find that someone had hit it, scraping all along the side, denting the front wheel well, and ripping off the rear view mirror — evidently driving off without leaving so much as a note saying sorry. If I had the TruScene Car Monitoring Device hooked up, I would have been able to check the video and ID the hit-and-run culprit, call the cops, take them to court, and hire someone to take them out as they enter the courtroom, as the only real justice is vigilante justice. Anyhow, the TruScene records video around your car in 30-second clips, and deletes them unless a bump or jolt occurs. You'll have total piece of mind, knowing that any sleazebag frat-guy drunk driver that so much as taps your car will be caught on tape. Unfortunately, the TruScene will set you back about $1,000, and you'll want more than one to really cover your entire car, so you should probably drive something nicer than a Yugo to justify the cost.
