Motorola's RAZR 2.0 gets a name: K1

Canary.jpg

Motorola's update to their ubiquitous and oft-copied RAZR phone is getting ever closer, with the model we showed you recently just getting approved by the FCC for use on our golden shores. Formerly codenamed "Canary," the slim phone will be known as the Motorola K1 RAZR, with a black version headed to Verizon stores named the K1c RAZR. A touch longer yet more svelte than its big brother, the K1 is reported to have a built-in 2-megapixel camera and a Micro SD card slot for cranking up capacity beyond the built-in memory. Release date is still a mystery, but we'll try to get some answers when Motorola swings through town early next month.
