LG gives us the Finger… mouse

finger_mouse_w.jpg

This just might be the first sign that the trend of making all gadgets smaller and sexier has gone too far: the finger mouse. Made by LG, this mini mouse — which is apparently just called "Finger" — works pretty much like a regular-size one, except the top button is for left clicking, while pressing down on the rear section will do a right click. There's even a scroll wheel on the right side, which we're predicting you'd have to be pretty coordinated to actually use — especially if you're left-handed. Why would you want to contort your digits around this thing, most likely increasing your risk of giving yourself a repetitive stress injury? The little guy's meant for portables like your PDA or UMPC, liberating you from carrying around a full-size mouse, which could possibly lead to questions about that awkward bulge in your pocket. Another possible use we'd like to see someone try: control 10 computers at once. C'mon, you know you want to….

This might just be the perfection of personal-tech engineering. I want it just to have it despite its utter ridiculousness.

Looks so ultra-sleek that adjusting to it, like I had to with a sleek wireless mouse designed by "A4 Tech" will again make my right hand contort in pain; but like "jimnash" said here, I'd like to try it out just to give you the insider comments.
