Now this is exactly what we had in mind when we first heard about Dell absorbing gaming-rig maker Alienware: some seriously house-rocking new designs for desktop PCs. This baby, called the XCS, comes from Matthew Ritter, and resembles… ah, well, we're not sure what it resembles, but whatever it is, it's mad cool and future-y. And we want one — not just for the killer looks, but also the E-Z swappable hard drives (those are the things in the bottom right), which we have to admit kind of propel the XCS deeper into the realm of fiction. There's no data on specs of this beautiful creature; in fact, Dell hasn't even confirmed it will make it. Producing such a groundbreaking design, even minus the modular hard-drive stuff, might be too out of character for Dell, but here's hoping they see the light… the cool blue glowing light.
