Because regular lamps are boring, the Clamp is designed to stand out in a room. Clamping on to a table or flat surface, the Clamp looks like a container you would put gas in or something like that, but rest assured, it's a lamp. I'm not sure I would want something like this in my living room, as the rest of my furniture doesn't really fit into the modern-garage-design-chic aesthetic, but to each his or her own.
