BenQ SL91 phone puts its dock to good use

benq.jpg

Having a really sexy phone is all well and good, but having it plugged in to a plain old cable snaking behind your desk kind of ruins the mystique when it's charging at home. Not so with the BenQ-Siemens SL91, which has this rounded dock that not only charges the phone, but syncs it up with your PC. It also lights up when you receive a call or text message, providing a nice mobile version of the LED phone sensor. When out of the cradle the SL91 stands up pretty well on its own, featuring a 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and 32 MB of memory expandable via MicroSD. The SL91 will be available in Europe at the end of the year, and if you're a real moneybags you could import it and probably get it working here in the states.
