Underwater headphones: rockin' when wet

underwaterheadphones_w.jpg

While traditional speakers don't do so well when used underwater, these headphones use a well-known waterproof material to function in the murky depths: the human skull. By sending vibrations right into your jaw, the EZ-80WP uses "bone-conduction technology" to turn your head into the ultimate in underwater audio receiver. Of course, never having tried listening to music via skull vibrations, we aren't sure if this can compete to a nice 7.1-channel surround sound setup, but what do you expect from headphones you can use while snorkeling? Set your noggin to vibrate for $170, available July 15th in Japan.
