Samsung CX913P points itself in any direction

samsungmonitor.jpg

It takes a little bit of creativity to make us sit up and notice a new flat-panel monitor, and Samsung's new SyncMaster CX913P is certainly creative. Practical, well, that's another story. The 19-inch LCD screen offers a 6-millisecond pixel-response time (cutting down on the motion blurs) and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1 (not bad for an LCD), which is all well and good, but the real news is the rotating stand. Giving you the ability to set the screen at virtually any angle, the CX913P promises to revolutionize the way you, uh… well, look at those pictures! It sure is cool looking! We suppose that if you did a lot of work standing over your desk, or perhaps standing on your desk, this would really come in handy. Or if you just need to point your screen around to show multiple people whatever you're working on, that could also be convenient. Work with us here. These screens are currently only available in Korea for around $511, but there's always the chance of them coming over here.
