If you'd like to be kept cool and fresh in the same manner as produce at your local grocery store, check out this outdoor misting system that claims to be able to lower the surrounding temperature by 20°F. The system comes in a series of 10-foot pipes, which can be connected to cover up to 100 feet of outdoor space. Hooking up to a standard garden hose, the mist-sys doesn't need any pumps or electronics, just a desire to get a little wet while sitting on your patio. The pipes don't come cheap, however, at $50 per 10-foot segment. If all it really contains is a length of pipe with holes in it that a hose attaches to, you could probably make you own in a pretty straightforward DIY project. But, Corporal McLazy, if you don't feel like getting out the power drill, you can bust out the credit card and you'll be getting sprayed by lukewarm hose water in no time.

Not sure it would be a good idea to have your laptop out in that, but it sounds like a nice idea. I would probably make the rig myself though. The Power Drill holds no fear over me!
