Blu-ray movies arrive just in time for players

t2br_w.jpgWith the first Blu-ray player set to be released on Sunday, Sony has made available some select cinema classics for early adopters itching to check out the capabilities their new high-definition disc player. The Fifth Element, House of Flying Daggers, and Terminator 2 are among the titles available, with this release marking about the 250th version of T2 to be made available for consumers. The titles are all selling for about $20, which is cheaper than the HD DVD discs currently available, which hover around $25. That price difference will totally make up for the fact that the Blu-ray player costs twice as much as the HD DVD one, as long as you want to purchase 500 copies of 50 First Dates.
