Ah, Yanko Design, where would we be without your constant stream of eye candy in the form of concept tech toys? Take the iBall — a nice stab at what a camcorder from Apple would look like. Discarding the multi-buttoned, edgy look of your typical cams, the iBall is shaped like a half sphere, with the flat side opening up to reveal the viewscreen. The sphere's round surface makes it easy to hold, and if you ever want to sit it down, the design makes it virtually impossible to tip over. But wait a minute… where's the record button? And how would the optics work for a spherical design, exactly? Best not to ask such questions and enjoy the pretty pictures. — Peter Pachal
