NetGear and Skype have announced pricing and a release date for their Wi-Fi Phone, the SPH101, which allows users to make free Skype calls from any Wi-Fi hotspot. Costing $250, the phone will be released in June or July. In addition to Internet calls, it also can make calls to non-Skype numbers for a per-minute fee. … CBS has launched an online video channel called innertube featuring unique programming and companion material to the network's broadcast shows. Supported by advertisers, innertube has more in common with Comedy Central's Motherload than with the recently launched ABC broadband video service, which offers free viewing of broadcast programs the day after they air. … AOL plans to start offering free telephone numbers to all of its AIM users that would allow people to call them while they are online using the service. The incoming calls would be free, and outgoing calls could be made for a monthly flat fee.
