Iriver has announced its new clix portable music player, featuring tight integration with Windows Media Player 11 and the new MTV Urge music store. Shooting for the type of easy syncing that makes the iPod/iTunes combo so popular, Microsoft and iriver are looking to make the process of buying music online and putting in your music player as easy as possible. At least that's the plan — the specifics of how easy it will be are hard to pinpoint, as the press release is full of vague marketing-speak and no real info on how the software will interface with the player. Featuring 2 GB of memory, the clix has a color screen that displays photos and video as well as some flash games to keep you occupied on the bus. It also has an FM tuner and recorder on it, allowing you to record radio broadcasts to the player. The clix is available now online for $200.
