Gekkomat turns anyone into a wall-crawler

gekkomat_w.jpgThe superhero-inspired gear just keeps on coming; first the Octarm and now the Gekkomat. Bestowing its wearer with the ability to climb walls just like… well, a Gecko, the Gekkomat has four separate pads for the hands and feet along with tanks containing compressed air. The tanks create a powerful vacuum on the surface of the pads, allowing the wearer to stick to virtually any surface — concrete, sandstone, plaster, wood, glass, or metal. I wouldn't try it on ice, though. And the building you're trying to scale had better be reasonably short, since there's only enough air for a half hour of climbing. If you're not sure that's enough time to climb up, get the jewels, and climb back down again, feel free to take along a parachute just in case — the Gekkomat is said to be strong enough to carry up to a ton of weight.
