'WMD' PC blows away boring beige boxes

wmd_w.jpg

Believe it or not, this is a PC. Not exactly a PC you'll be able to pick up at Best Buy, but a PC nonetheless. This is a custom case meant to look like a nuclear bomb put together by Peter Dickison over at Bit-Tech.net, and it's certainly the most impressive custom job we've ever seen. Be sure to check the site and look through the pages and pages of photos along with the write-up of how he put together the "WMD" PC. Some of the cooler features include the keypad on the front that acts as the power button, the DVD drive built into the side, and of course the functioning countdown timer. If you want one of your own, put that wallet away and bring out the work gloves, cause this thing isn't for sale. If you're confident in your abilities, there are more than enough instructions and photos on the site for you to give it a try yourself, but from the looks of it it'll take a pretty sizable investment of time.
