Offering a "clean, quiet solution" for your daily commute, the Scoot electric scooter can zip down city streets at speeds up to 20 mph. It runs on a lithium-ion battery, so there's no gas and no exhaust — just plug in the removable battery overnight and you're good to go in the morning. Three Dutch companies collaborated to come up with the design, which definitely leans more toward traditional scooters than the overhyped Segway, although the Scoot appears to be just a concept right now. When it does get on the market, upgrading to a Scoot commute will cost you about 1,500 euros ($1,840).
