There are a lot of cheap Web cams out there, and they all do pretty much the same thing: show low-resolution pictures of you sitting at your computer to anyone with enough free time to look. This one, however, is different. First, it's kind of cool looking, but more important, it can see in the dark. Featuring two infrared lamps for night vision as well as three LED lights, it ensures that no matter how dark you keep your fortress of solitude, you'll be seen. It captures images at a resolution up to 640 x 480 pixels, which isn't exactly great, but it is a Web cam, so what do you expect? It's available online now for $20. — Adam Frucci
