


You can't throw a rock in iPodLand without hitting a speaker dock, but we like the iCube II since it's so… cubular. It's also a pretty clever move to show a picture of how the boxy speaker connects to your Mac or PC in the iPod's screen in your product pic, as Boynq (near as we can figure, that's pronounced "boink") does here. With your iPod or iPod nano in the dock, you can listen, charge, and sync — all at the same time. There's also a line input for connecting other MP3 players, a line output, and bass and treble controls. With a pair of 5-watt full-range drivers, we can't imagine is sounds spectacular, but it'll probably do for your office or bedroom. The price is a mystery for now, but iCube I was about $90 list, and you know how those sequel budgets get inflated…
