Hewlett-Packard just unveiled their latest handheld, the iPAQ hw6900. Gunning for business types, the new iPAQ will be packed to the gills with wireless capabilities, including GSM (for voice and data), Wi-Fi (so you can connect easily to wireless networks), GPS, and Bluetooth (for syncing with other Bluetooth devices). Also onboard are 45 MB of storage space, and the Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Edition. WinMo comes with push e-mail, which automatically "pushes" e-mail messages, calendar items, and contacts through the server directly to the phone, all without going through a separate mail server on the receiving end. With such a broad feature set, expect the new iPAQ to be a strong competitor for the Treo. HP advertises a late spring release date on its site, but it hasn't announced a price yet.
