If you're the kind of person who thinks "quarter to five" is anywhere from 4:25 to 4:55, then Talus has a watch for you. Instead of displaying the exact time, the face of the AboutTime model shows messages like, "Going on 11 fifteen," or "Just shy of 2." Or you could get the Timeline watch, which shows only the hour, but slowly slides the digit up the face so its position gives you an approximation of the minutes. Is the "4" close to the top? Must be almost quitting time. And for Wednesday night when you need to know exactly how many minutes it is until Lost starts, one click of the crown on either model will toggle the face to a to-the-second digital readout. You can't buy one yet as the Talus Web site says "manufacturing now under negotiation," but we like the "chill out" concept. Plus the bezels have stylin' modern lines.
